went to grandma's niche at choa chu kang columbariam in the morning with my parents and relatives. been two years since she went up to the Lord. times passes so fast... the wounds have been healed. today wasn't a cause for sadness and mourning. instead, it was more of a celebratory visit to the niche, knowing that grandma will always be looking down on us, praying for us and watching over us. she no longer suffers and that's most important! amen! went to ntu to look for izzati after that. had a great time catching up with her in that few hours or so. and whilst i was there, i couldn't really relax though. had to help miss jamil and her roomie fix up their curtains (ceiling high) cos well, girls can be rough sometimes and they accidentally tugged it too hard that the hooks fell out. but in any case, being a gentleman once in a while is good. haha. considering how i am most of the time quite lazy to do stuff. i should be a gentleman more often. =) it makes people happy and well, i'm happy too. hahaha. the early afternoon was spent strolling thru jurong point, looking at clothes with izzati. and thinking of our next meeting with zul and aishah. we seriously have to plan a makan session... first pastamania or sth, then followed by dessert. but that will come after hari raya puasa is over. after izzati left, i just left boonlay since i presumed marco sumitra wouldn't be done with his fourth year lessons while people like nurbaya, fuquan and all would be busy with their tutorials or lectures too. but resting wasn't an immediate option when i reached home. just a mere few hours of making salad with my mum, i was running out of the house after a hearty dinner. had salad, steak and macaroni cheese which left me quite full. so i took a long walk from my place to samantha's house near bedok camp. not bad i must say... i love long solitary walks. fun, not forgetting the music... =) yet, instead of catching up with her in her house... her parents, cheryl and us went to tampines one for a cup of tea/coffee at teadot. nice sitting there doing nothing... talking to them, catching up on primary school days. thanks uncle and aunty for the treat and for sending me home. haha. ok, given that samantha has also done her driving and passed. i should get mine soon. lots of things to be done. so yah, anyway... i managed to accomplish some stuff like meeting izzati and samantha, as well as visiting my grandma's niche. next few things would be to register for driving. it's driving me up the wall, but i'll rather drive around singapore than up the wall. so yea, "JAMES, IT'S TIME YOU DROVE. AND THEN MAYBE WHEN YOU CAN DRIVE, SOME RICH SOUL MIGHT BUY YOU A CAR." ok stop dreaming and get down to it. p.s. sorry i pangsehed you. manddaw
