i think 1984 is a freaking in depth study on the degradation of the english language. i constantly wonder what that world will be like... a world without the wonderful use of language. i'll not be able to converse with people. i constantly laugh at the use of 'ungood' to mean 'bad'... and 'doubleplus' to signify the extent of it. like 'doubleplusgood' or 'doubleplusungood'. i dread the day when that happens cos the beauty of the language will be lost. anyway, tmr's the literature and econs paper of which i'm still in a daze to study. i hate the telescreen... it's like having my parents sitting beside me while i'm studying. so glad my room doesn't have one. =) and i never want to be controlled by a totalitarian government. NEVER! haha. i'm going to sleep. bye. manddaw
