what were you doing in secondary school? lemme think. i was rather upset that i didn't get into temasek secondary. cos my cousin was there... and i wanted to join the school because they had bowling. but thinking back over the years... i'm glad i didn't get into the school. ask me why if u want to know... dun want to offend any race here. ya... sec 1. i was just another blur kid in school. plump and short... during cca recruitment, was so mesmerised by the band. the band was just so cool... marching and playing music. at that point, i had made up my mind to join band. die die also had to join band. so yup... ended up in band after i went around school begging miss choi (then cca in charge). i was originally posted to scouts of which i had no interest in cos i thought all they did was tie knots after knots... sorry zukai! was rather enthusiastic in sec 1. turned up for all band practices... :) wanted to be in the main band, but got put into auxillary. yah... i remembered showing some attitude towards kexin. was quite dark in sec 1 cause i was constantly in the sun. and during SYF opening ceremony, tk band won the best display band and marco won the best drum major. yup...those days... was also part of a great class. 2g. didn't try to know my class better till i reached sec 2. met my best friend, andrew soetiono. my confidante and phone buddy. he made sure i understood my maths and science. goodness, i wouldn't have been able to go through 4 years of secondary school education without him man! he's the best! the things i remembered in sec 2 were the recess times where a whole group of us would sit behind the canteen eating and eating. haha... andrew, me, audrey, andrea, huiying & stanley along with others. we always went home together on the bus. stanley would irritate me by scratching me with a sharp $2. haha... and i used to call him irritant! brandon and xiufu always argued with mrs tey about the correct science answers. band turned into indoor. noah's ark was a joy to play. i loved playing the running notes. sitting beside hidayah and shazana. got gold and everyone cried at vch. :) sec 3... got into 3f. somehow didn't like my class initially cos there was ben quek in it. i felt my life was very miserable to have him as a classmate for 4 years. andrew and i got split... he went to the triple science class. me... combined science. sad i know. but got to know sally, anisa, christine, shuuji & zukai. they were insane people who made me laugh all the time. there were a lot of scandals in my upper secondary years. christine and shuuji loved my bro. anisa kept fantasizing about chunky monkey. sally was always speaking about tchen, orlando bloom and tay ping hui... changtat & ian. aiya... she loves all the hot guys and cute little boys. band was back to outdoor again. was put into the block this time... on shazana's side along with roharjo, romario, gary. we just stood in the sun singing gulliver's travels to irritate shazana. you would then see her chasing all of us around the field. i was band crazy... at every possible time, i would be humming the whole band repertoire. from lord of the rings to lord of the dance. once again, we clinched the best display band which earned us the title of immortals. :) sally and the rest turned up at the stadium to cheer for christine & me. awww... so touched! concert was a blast! we played so many nice pieces. played three solos for firestorm, disney medley & pirates of the caribbean. sally pissed me off cos she didn't hear me play her pirates solo... u'll never be forgiven.. haha! somehow, because i was always eating and was so quiet, i was named the whale. what the heck! oh well... we always went to parkway after school for those two years. during my sec 4 year, i remembered starting my revision in january whilst shuuji they all started after the prelims. kiasu lah... and i've finally gotten my results back. the most memorable thing was getting to know to many godsiblings in tk... esp the band. mr tan kee hoe will never be forgotten. i called him all the time to clarify chemistry stuff... thannks mr tan! five of your favourite singers/bands? clay aiken carrie underwood westlife hillsongs diana degarmo five things you would do if you were a millionaire? splurge on my wants buy a clarinet made of gold buy a huge bungalow and have my close friends over for parties buy my parents a house for themselves keep the rest in the bank... $$$ five bad habits: procastinating... like now cos i'm supposed to be studying calling my maid by hp just to ask her for a drink from the kitchen hiding behind my room doors playing gameboy constantly drawing money out of my bank account when i'm not supposed to extorting money from my older brother... $$$ five things you like doing: lying on my bed doing nothing talking on the phone to andrew for hours singing at the top of my voice all the time buying dvds and watching it at home... saves money! blowing the clarinet towards the girls' school when their trumpet sounds irk me, so as to irritate them five things you will never wear, buy or get: cigarettes another best friend pink tee shirts... yucks! purple paint to do my room... yucks! body piercings five favourite things: can my dearest sister be counted???
