just came back from ben quek's chalet at safra changi where the four of us spent some time. well, it was mostly about adrian & louisa. there was no other people who could make it though. called audrey but she had something on with her primary school friends. upon reaching the place, we went bowling where i lost to ben quek twice. sigh... and especially by a close margin. for the first round, he scored 100 while i got 99. sigh... the second round he scored 147 while i got 143. sad right! oh well, it was fun though. they then went to the arcade where adrian & ben quek played games like time crisis etc. after that, went back to the chalet and played tai tee (is that how you spell it?) louisa helped me through cos i forgot how to play after such a long time. hopefully, i remember it now. cheryl had her barbeque yesterday with some of her friends. saw kenneth yee's younger sister. somehow, she does not seem like him at all. faces look so different... just like ben quek & cheryl. ben's father then sent us to the city at around 9 plus where we walked around looking for presents for ben's parents' wedding anniversary. eventually, we got two cards for them. i helped pick them out... it was nice lah huh! walked from marina square to the esplanade where there was so many people waiting to see the fireworks and do the countdown. i think we walked quite a lot yesterday as we made our way from marina square to the esplanade, to suntec city and then to marina mandarin. stood at some cafe area and had a great view of the fireworks. it was quite long... more than 10 mins worth of fireworks display. shall not elaborate what happened here lah... it was a private business between adrian & louisa and i shall keep it to myself. we then walked away from the esplanade trying to get a cab. however, there were no cabs around as all were either occupied, on call or the drivers were changing shift. so ya, the four of us walked along nicholl highway till beach road. there we found a cab which drove us to the chalet at changi. on the way there, wished many people. andrew too... he called me at around 1 plus. i miss him so much... where are you!??!?! hurry come back k! came back and played more tai tee with them, after which i just started to doze off. sigh... not a new year i expected to happen. it was fun, no doubt, being with adrian & louisa & ben quek, but i had to come back early today cos i have church soon. leaving soon lah... anyway, i saw the relationship which adrian & louisa shared. it was sweet lah... i somehow think they're made for each other. she's better for him than the previous one. they were SO SO SO sweet. holding hands in mob of people. he opening doors for her (expected lah huh). it made me think of the times when adrian was always confiding his probs with me (his lousy brother), but have finally found his partner. so ya, i'm not getting emo now so don't worry lah. i just miss all my godbrothers and godsisters. come to think of it, they are the ones that sustain me through the 'O' levels when i'm down. however, everyone just drifts away from each other. oh well, i guess it's all fated lah! i shall thank God for whatever thing that happens. notice i stop calling him kor much now... cos i dun think i need to. he's so in love to even bother about the stupid brother here. to adrian & louisa... all the best in your new relationship in 2oo6. i think i shall end it off here for now... going to church soon. shall blog more next time. till then, ciao! manddaw
