we gathered outside artha gading with around 7 cars behind edwin. imagine it... a gang of cars going for paintball... and the cars were all big and expensive. like big-shot people going for some gangster fight. haha. so ya, proceeded to some ulu ulu place where the roads were all bumpy and muddy... something like swamps. we were then given a briefing on the procedure in bahasa melayu... and we singaporeans looked lost and like some cuckoo trying to understand every single word. sigh... it was tough! tiring just trying to understand what the instructor was trying to tell us. at that point in time. the older people looked down on us like we were doomed to lose to them. they called us 'semua kecil kecil one'... terrible right! but well... as i said, dun think u so big lor... we also quite good k! haha... at first i thought we were really going to lose because of our age and size... our group consisted of many small-sized people excluding edric, whilst the other team had edwin and the other big guys. at that time, i was hoping that marco could be there... cos he would be able to cover up for me and shoot the other people down. but ya.. he's not in jakarta. anyway... the thought of winning was slim. in the battle arena, i was stumped. this was my first time and i was already facing burly, big guys. in the first game, i got shot by paint literally all over. SO PAINFUL! but ya... very fun! i paired up with glenn to advance. however, he suddenly disappeared and went another way. so i was alone... and the opposite team started shooting me like crazy. i had paint on my protective face mask and it greatly blurred my vision. in the end, after 1o mins, i was out of the game cos i was shot left, right, centre, up & down. sigh... sad case huh! however, we still won because of audrey's super power. she was somewhat invincible. she dodged the paint pellets and managed to grab the opposite team's flag which was the goal. wow... unthinkable right. a girl actually doing the team proud. haha... but well, she ain't lousy, she's my sister! andrew, gelina, heidi also helped by shooting crazily. the girls on our team really rocked today! they practically went in the line of fire and 'risked' themselves. KUDOS to audrey, heidi & gelina. the second round was also victorious for us as we managed to win it too... we had already won the first round because of our small size and quick agility. once again, i paired off with glenn and jeff. once again, they went their way, leaving me alone. sigh... ambitious people who wants to take on the older peeps. i think the judge closed one eye on us. we were all supposed to surrender when we got shot... but we continued playing. such perseverance allowed us the final victory. heidi, andrew & i got bitten by huge red ants though... on my neck for me. stupid ants... but who cares, as long as we won! once again, the girls and andrew went together. they could actually squeeze behind a tree together. i think andrew lost weight... hmmm, must be edric lah, eat his food! poor kid, the elder bro is smaller-sized than the younger bro. anyway... my days in indo are coming to an end. will miss this place so much!!! till then... ciao. manddaw
