lemme see... i started work already. at this marketing company called Dynamic Asia Pte Ltd. made many new frens there. let's go straight to the point though... it's tiring! fun, no doubt, but ya... energy draining. we are currently having this fund raising project for this teen centre in tampines... poverello teen centre. so ya... put it in layman terms... donations lor. went to ICA building (immigrations centre) at Lavender on the first day. wah kao... kena rejected most of the time... the idiots there either tell u they are busy doing something, or they have some meeting to rush for. but all are just excuses to escape donating 10 bucks. and ya... we stand in the scorching sun at the carpark, accepting people's criticisms and rejections. terrible rite? despite the fatigue, my team carried on till 4pm. found out that there were some people who were generous, out of all the singaporeans. many were stingy... and i dun mind saying STINGY! pissed me off only. i shall not humiliate anyone on my blog here... nor criticise any race or religion. but ya... shall praise the catholics and christians. there was one catholic which gave a rehash of $570. a few others helped out with maximum of $20 but other than that... no one else was generous. i think this job just opened my eyes to the characteristics of various singaporeans... kiasu and stingy. and many people still recall the stupid NKF incident that they somewhat interrogate us with... "do you have a golden tap at home?" RIDICULOUS, mind you? we are just students. would we have the ability to buy a golden tap? the more i type this, the more pissed i am with all the people i have met. utterly ridiculous! whatever! arrrrrrgggggggg! cannot stand it lah. the second day of my work was much better though. we went to holland rd area to collect donations from people... rich peeps yet met some stingy people still. oh my goodness... the people living in sixth avenue are filthy rich with swimming pools in their backyard, sportcars etc. despite the mean people we met, there were other kinds souls in that area. there were many people who gave rehash of 20 bucks with 50 bucks the max. others donated 10. whilst i sold one book of 15 postcards the first day which generated $28 for my pay, i sold two booklets of 30 postcards on the second day which helped me get $60. good rite? if only someone will just bless us with a rehash of $500, then i dun have to work already. so ya... took leave today... have to go back to work tmr... sigh. went back to church yesterday after two months of absence... oh my goodness! i've missed out on church for such a long period of time. haven bought my new clarinet yet to play for church... but soon, soon! miss my dear kieren, megan, ashley, kayleigh and kayden. my dear little babies... wanted to go out with shazana after church, but she still had school. so ya, just came home to sleep lor. life is quite sian nowadays. godbrothers ALL busy... some probably flirting. two in australia. many going for their holidays... nicholas probably thinking of ronnie. yada yada... so ya, probably going to be the lonely person that i am... doing things alone. i shall not dye or colour my hair cos it has a natural brown colour to it (only when u see my hair in the sun). i want to cut my hair cos of the weather but very lazy! we'll see hw... probably keep it long. haha... going to relax a bit before the farewell dinner tonight... will update more another day. till then. god bless. manddaw
