firstly, the prelims sucked yah. i think i told u that already. the papers were so difficult that they were all out to bring us down. it was almost on par with the anglican high papers and cedar girls' papers which i did for both a and e maths. TOUGH like crazy! but ya, tmr is the day we receive the dreaded results, and i will cross my fingers and hope for the best! i seriously put in a lot of effort for the prelims... (except for chinese that is). back to the prom... i was in a blur the whole nite. everything happened so fast, that i did not have a split second to recollect my thoughts. i was glad i was at the party, though i regretted not taking more pics. let's start from the time i went to benjamin quek's hse. i was so panicky, cos he was rushing me to hurry up. reached his place at ard 6.15pm and his dad fetched us to grand hyatt. on the way there, TRAFFIC JAM! oh my goodness... the jam towards CTE was from tampines road there all the way to kallang... cause of the jam... singaporeans' KPOness. we found out that the accident wasn't on the highway towards the city, but was towards changi airport. so ya.. the accident was bad i think, didn't catch a glimpse of it. was resting my eyes... but ya, the jam on the opposite road was from payar lebar flyover all the way to stevens road. about 5 plus km... (i dunno whether i am exaggerating) but ya.. it was long. reached grand hyatt at ard 7. the place was already buzzing with people. jianxin, heidi, nina... etc. took some pictures there and then.. everyone was stunning, beautiful, charming... whatever! but ya, i could not recognise cheryl and ronnie when i saw them. haha. after hanging out at the lobby and waiting for andrew and gang to come, we proceeded to the ballroom. the food was okay... mediocre. i also fancied the cold dish... and i was taking so many pictures that i forgot what food came after which. i was actually supposed to sit with kenneth, junsheng and frens, but i changed table seating three times. from table 28 to 26 and 26 to 24. i think so... so in the end, i sat with sally, christine, ben quek, xu weiming, chalit, stanley, marcus, changyuan and zu kai. it was a great experience. truly amazing. the negative point was that... anisa wasn't sitting with us, and shuuji and huiying wasn't there. sigh... the host of the grad nite party was kinda lame... he insulted the teachers till no end. he called mr wee an overgrown student, insulted mr tan by saying he could not sing, and commented that mr tchen did not set an example for the students to follow.. haha, but well, i tot he was kinda rude. most of the time, i was outside the ballroom taking pictures with my frens... i didn't want to put the word 'all' cos i forgot to take lots of pictures with friends like kanchana, jennifer etc. sigh... miss lim too, forgot about her. so ya, missed out on quite a lot of friends and teachers. nevermind... hopefully there will be another chance during the release of the o levels. pls let me score 4 A1s... ya... i took pictures with many people till i forgot who... i know i got my wish of taking it with sally, christine and anisa... adrian kor, weiming and wenkai, byron and my beloved section, clarinets! will upload the pictures for all to see one day... some day... if i can get all of them that is. i, however, forgot to take a picture with my band... tk band! grrrr... i was busy, sorry! shall not go on and on about the minor details. took a cab home with andrew and jeffry. the whole cab fare cost 18 bucks of which we split... not evenly though. i reached home at ard 12.15am. i forgot my keys which i left with christine, so i had to turn back to collect them. sorry gals and zukai for waiting for me... so ya, i was so tired the moment i reached home. i bathed and went to sleep. but somehow i could not fall asleep till 2am... till thinking abt grad nite. haha... thank you andrew kor for lending me ur suit... will get it dry-cleaned for you... return to u by sunday... this morning... didn't do much, slacked basically. at 2pm, went for high tea at orchard hotel with my parents and aunt. ate quite a lot of food. xiu mai, bao etc... ate quite a lot of chocolates and drank more than 10 cups of hot tea with two packets of sugar for each cup... i was so full by the time we left the place. the whole meal cost $107 after +++... so ex!! but ya...enjoyed myself. tmr receiving back the results of the prelims already... going to sleep early. pls let me do well... pls God! my study momentum is still there, which i will continue to maintain till the end of the o levels. will cut down on my blogging time from today onwards... hopefully it will do me good! ya, i miss shuuji... sigh. P.S. go check out my pictures soon... will get it up sooner or later, depending on how much time i have and whether my parents will nag at me! so cya for now... *vanquished* manddaw
