had exchange with chung cheng on sat morning. they played 'pagan dances' which was astounding. however, i must say that their sound is too loud and blasty. however, we weren't that intimidated cos our sound was rounder than theirs. i must say their band has their own strengths and weaknesses. however, i feel firestorm is in a way harder because of the demands of the running notes for both brasses and winds. i just can't wait to finish the competition with a bang! on monday, the band had our one and only rehearsal in SCH. scary feeling cos we haven really gotten used to the place yet and the next time we go, will already be the competition. but anyway, we skipped sch0ol from 9am-1pm. practiced all we could there with the principal and vice-principal there to give support. francis was there cos he skipped his orientation for TJC. terence chow was there with his girlfriend too... tian sheng yi dui! they looked good togther from far. lol... both of them also ponteng. annabel was there too but she could not buy food for us cos we could get punished. it left me thinking: next year i will bring food and drinks to tempt the juniors while they are in the scorching sun. how mean of me! haha. p. chan told us after our practice that she excused us from lessons for the rest of the day. which meant that i could skip the last period. however, we still had to take the physics test. i hope i pass it with an A1. i remember finishing it 20 mins before the time was up... so i went to sleep! *yawn* as for today, nothing much happened except the stupid add maths test on trigonometry. wasn't able to do all the questions but i tried my best. so now, everything is left to God. had photography before that where we were allowed to use photostudio to work with images. but halfway through, p. chan called for me to her office. my mother called her up to talk about band pracs. she asked me how i fared for the first term's test. when i told her i got 3 distinctions for chinese, e maths & science, she said i had good results. however, i felt otherwise. andrew got 4 distinctions. my L1R5 is also 18. sad rite... can't even get into a good JC. anyway, p. chan said my mum wanted me out of band so desperately that she called the school (such an extent could also mean that she is desperate to get me out of band). my mum also complained that because of band, i got so tired everyday that i became grouchy at home and very mean! i must admit that because of band, i am tired at the end of the day that i do not interact with my parents at all. hence, no connection and leads to misunderstandings. sigh... well, only two more weeks left. anyway, i have to go mug for lit test tmr. cya peeps. annabel, i miss u... come back! manddaw
